Bal Vatika

Bal Vatika Program:
The BalVatika program is a preparatory class for children in Kendriya Vidyalaya schools (KVS) in India before they start Grade 1. The program is designed to help children develop cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills through play-based learning.
Program goals
The program helps children develop cognitive and linguistic competencies that are important for learning to read, write, and develop number sense.

Eligibility:
The minimum age for admission to BalVatika 3 is 5 years and the maximum is 6 years, as of April 1, 2023. There is a two-year relaxation in the upper age limit for differently abled applicants.

Admission:
Children admitted to Bal Vatika classes are automatically promoted to higher classes.
